After the recent death of Sir Sean Connery a major network is putting on a binge James Bond marathon. So I look at the lineup for this morning and right after You Only Live Twice they’re playing On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. OMG. Someone over there doesn’t know their M’s from their Q’s. Well, at least it has Diana Rigg. She just passed in September so I’ll allow OHMSS in the mix on that basis.

Yes, sad news indeed. He was an icon of the big screen and held in high regard and affection here in the UK.

RIP Jamesshh Bond.

He was a great actor. I do not think I ever saw him in a bad movie. I would have liked a few to have been longer to tell more of the story.

I liked many of his non-Bond movies:

Outland...High Noon in space...
Red October...up there with Run Silent Run Deep, The Enemy Below & Das Boot...
The Name of the Rose...kinda like Cadfael with a Welsh akshent...
the Last Crusade...Indy’s dad - perfect fun.

it for now
