hand-made bjarne pipes

Does anyone know who actually carved the high grade hand-made bjarne pipes? ipe:

I was told by Bjarne that he had under ten carvers, none of them famous.

I would have to agree with CP. When I met him a year or so ago here in Phoenix at a pipe sale he was having at one of the local B&M's this was also my impression from listening to him talk. I picked up two of his pipes during the show. He even autographed the socks. I was quite surpised to see his high grades as I was always under the impression before this that Bjarne was more of a lower grade (less than $200 range) produced pipe. He really has some nicer high grades. Eric Nording is very simular on how he runs his business also.

Some of the high grade Bjarnes are beautiful. Same with Nordings high grades.

I have a couple higher grade Nordings neither of which will pass a cleaner.This makes them a pain to clean cause I have to break them down every time.I have heard that Nordings are notorious for this inability to pass a cleaner.Any comments?
