Yup, it's FAT Tuesday, hope all of you that's visiting New Orleans stays safe and still have a BLAST. One day hopefully I will go, been all over the World but never to New Orleans....sad.

First timers coming in from out of town, don't go the weekend before Mardi Gras through the day itself, but the weekend before. The parades are still great, the crowds almost as large (weather permitting), and the prices a lot less. :shock: (most hotel rooms for next year's Mardi Gras weekend are likely already booked).
