Hello from NC!

Hello all,


I’m about 1.5 hrs from the North Carolina coast, where I spend about 1/3 of my time. I first picked up a pipe in 2015 and I’m still with it today. I’ve collected about 45 pipes and 10 or 15 pounds of tobacco over those few years. I’ve also experimented with carving and have maybe 6 that turned out well, the last 2 or 3 turned out really nice. I look forward to meeting you!

I used to rotate genres - but last September I seemed to get stuck in straight Virginias and haven’t made it back into a rotation. I even tried last weekend with cigar blends and Night Train and it was a no-go. So these days it’s a rotation of straight VA, or almost straight VA (like Golden Sliced and Luxury Navy Flake - I know they aren’t really straight VA - but they’re pretty close to my unsophisticated palette.)
