I have an opportunity to pick up a sealed tin of 1996 Christmas Cheer but Im not sure if its already started "declining". I just popped a tin of 2002 last week and it was great and probably could have stayed sealed for another 3-5 years longer without a problem, maybe even longer if stored correctly. Just wondering what you guys think about aging Virginias. I have heard so many different thoughts on this tobacco subject.

There's a great article by GL Pease about just exactly this. If I was better at the search function I could probably provide a link.

Perhaps some other brother could post this?

Cheers,

RR

IF stored and sealed properly It has another 30-40-50 years ahead of it.

Notice that's a big IF.
