Does it seem like yesterday?

I'm going to have to take a day trip to Oliver Hardy's birthplace in Harlem, Georgia. It's actually not very far from me at all. I understand there is a museum there dedicated to Laurel and Hardy.

Yes, it does seem like yesterday, Ollie! I used to watch them and Abbot & Costello all the time. I even have a mechanical A&C figurine that performs the "Who's on First" act! I never get tired of listening to it. I even remember sitting with my grandfather watching these tv shows while he smoked either his pipe or his Lucky Strikes! Also watched Amos & Andy, and other shows like Phil Silvers and George Burns. Not only does it seem like yesterday, it was "the good old days". Days when a young boy could ride his bicycle 5 miles to grandpa's and not have a care in the world, not have to worry about someone stealing his bike or him! I'm glad I still have those memories.
