Great article. It's great that CAO are so responsive to customer feedback.

I hope the best for them as a subsidiary of Scandinavian Tobacco (which will soon be a huge merged ST-Swedish Match). It means a better chance of weathering the tobacco politics--strength in numbers.

Still have to wonder what's up with the BAT/Dunhill business?!! FTRPLT
Here's my guess: Orlik (manufacture DH) and CAO (potential distro) are now both wholly-owned subsidiaries of ST. That gives ST a pretty strong hand in negotiating the terms for selling BAT/Dunhill to the American market. The only clout BAT has, short of finding a new manufacturer, is the ability to withhold consent until they get better terms. Again, just a pure guess from context.

There you have it. Make use of the email fellows! :D

Here is a better email. I hope, as the one in the article does not work.

[email protected]
Thanks for posting the e-mail address here.

What is the one in the article doing?
I clicked on it and it works. It pulls up Microsoft Outlook.

Is it doing something different for you?

Thunderbird comes up and sends it, but it bounces back as a non-existent email address. No recipient or something like that.

Carlos,

Thanks for posting about this and bringing it to my attention.
The old address in the article was the one that Tim gave me. I guess he made a mistake and gave me the old one. I have edited the article and changed the e-mail address to the one that you listed, [email protected]. That one works.

Thanks again,
Bob
