Is Patriot Flake any good?

Anyone like or dislike this tobacco? Just wondering where it ranks amongst other flake tobaccos before I take the plunge and order some.

None of Dan's flakes are great, but they're all good. I would say HV is their best, it's similar in taste and probably better than Dunhill Flake. In other words, Patriot Flake isn't going to make you swear off SG flakes or the better of the K&K offerings, but it's good enough to have a couple tins on hand for a diversion. Less sweet and more savory, but not woody, and still a lighter German style flake.

Patriot Flake is one of my special little off and on go-to blends. In other words, I like it quite a bit, though it's not one of the big name popular blends. It is probably one of the better offerings from CAO/ Dan. I agree, it's not going to make you swear off of some more popular blends, but it is some pretty good stuff. No frills: tasty medium flake.
