This is not really a review, as I can't seem to find the words to describe my tastes beyond "good" or "bad", so please excuse me for the lack of description. But as I occasionally enjoy Iwan Ries's Canadian Plug, and I love Virginias, especially in flake form, I ordered both their IRC Slices and IRC Virginia Flake.

After several bowls of each in various pipes, my impression was that both were OK at best, but rather flat tasting with little to excite my pallet. Not bad, but not memorable either. Anyone else tried them with different (or similar) observations?

the slices i belive are PS luxury navy flake and i find those better than the IRC virgina flake. It tends to be a little "boring" a gets a little warm if not played slowly. The slices are a little more spicy with the perique and can be had for cheaper when purchased under the PS brand from most bulk suppliers.
