Thanks for the link Ron. That company has some history behind it for sure, and IMO not very well known this side of the pond. I've never run across anyone here that collects that maker or has much information about them. Grab a bunch of them before they catch on with other collectors and they drive the prices upward!!
You let the cat out of the bag so to speak. :D

Oh what the hey, if I can't share the little knowledge I have, it's not worth anything.
They just have the basic run of the mill shapes and nothing that really blows my skirt up.
I only collect what I like no matter it's value. I won't even collect Dunhill's because most look like golf clubs to me. And the ones that do interest me are just waaaaaaaay out of my pocket book range.
Yep, Just another poor man in a rich man's hobby.

I just recently picked up a Jethro 95 cavalier style pipe made in London England and wasn't sure who the manufacturer was but, the price was right. After a little head banging and research I come to find out that in 1995 the English comedian Jethro was inducted into the “UK Pipe Smokers of the Year” And there was a Cavalier pipe “Jethro 95 manufactured to honor him sponsored by The Association of Independent Tobacco Specialists (AITS). There were only 500 made which this one is number 45. Still unsure who manufactured it but, at least I know the pipes origin. It's a very well made pipe and without flaws, I know I said that I bought this one to smoke but, I'll have to rethink that being this one is one of only a few and I'd hate to get careless and something happen to it. After a good cleaning and polishing here's what it looks like now.
