June 2013 BoB Bomber Summer Extravawhat is that Bright Thing in the Sky?​
Here in Oregon, the shift in weather from rain to sunshine floods the state west of the Cascades with a delirium. The sun does something to an Oregon mind where we forget stuff and live for every moment of bliss found outdoors, be it camping, fishing, boating, hiking... anything to get outside... finally!

The loss of minds times nicely with the graduation ceremonies that dot the landscape this time of year. The sense of freedom or relief carries over into real life. Those desiring to get out and about also feel the anticipation and the excitement of finally being free from the stuffy indoors. 

All that to say, its June. I’m an Oregonian (transplanted, but here long enough to suffer from the same malady). I’ve lost my mind. My text rambles. Time to make an epic bomb.

As per our Standard Operating Procedure, it’s time to sign in for June’s mission. If you are an approved BoB Bomber, it is time to sign in! Once we have a good number of folks signed in, orders will be sent out.

I'm afraid I am going to have to sit this month out.

I am leaving early Saturday morning for Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico where I will be spending 10 days in the back country mountains with a bunch of kids less than half my age and in much better shape.  If I actually survive the experience I will be happy to participate in July.

Wish me luck...

Folks, I have to sit this one out...I will be on the road for the next few weeks and can't say with any conviction that I'll have the opportunity to assemble or deliver a bomb.

It's a one-time thing for me - I'll be there for July.
 
Sorry  to ne running behind, havent had much time for any fun lately, but I'm in!
