Anyone else have the experience that Kajun Kake pretty well tastes like a glass of dry, red wine that’s on the sweet side? I’ve smoked it in 3-4 different pipes to make sure it wasn’t just a characteristic of one particular pipe and got a similar taste from each. Not just a hint of wine but very much like I’m drinking a glass of it. Which is great since I enjoy reds. Very interesting blend!

Yeah, maybe an earthy Malbec. I don’t find it that sweet though.

Interesting I may have to look into this one. Back in the stoneages quite a few blends used to be topped with wine and were well liked from what I hear.

I love drinking red wine while smoking, but haven't got to try that blend yet, is it a latakia blend?

Virginia, perique, and I believe a little cavendish, pressed into a crumble cake, no topping.
