Kentucky Dark Fired

I still don't know if I like it. It's smokey, like the latakia that I enjoy, but its nicotine content seems very high to me. I put together a blend a few months ago with a small amount nicotiana rustica to add some nicotine, but it did not effect me as the Kentucky Dark Fired does. I've never attempted to smoke it straight. It could be that it's burley, which I avoid.

I found the nic hit strong but the flavour, to me, was mild to bland but I'm a lover of stout English blends.

Hadn't thought of blending with it, tough that may be how I use mine up.

You might like fire cured VA a bit more. Leaf Only has several versions: Pipe Tobacco Leaf - Tobacco Leaves By The Pound

I've had their Dark Fire Cured Wrapper. It's magnificent leaf with amazing smokey BBQ aroma but is lower nicotine and milder flavor than dark fired kentucky.
