So I just bought a 4th generation bent apple, or billiard (can't quite remember) if I'd like to put a churchwarden stem on it are they all standard sizes or should I put a micrometer on the stem?

Here is a couple of places to order some molded stems from. The tenon diameter will not be sized to the shank you have and you have to size it yourself. Watch some video's before ordering any to make sure you would want to do this yourself. Or the easiest way is to send the pipe to someone that does pipe repair/ restoration.
