It might just be possible that this was one of those startlingly wonderful ideas fraught with far too much potential for disaster.

I'm beginning to think that McClelland's might be an acceptable sub after all.

And I haven't mentioned the worst part yet. I wuz going to save it for the orders going out tomorrow...but gosh, the way things are going...with the NW Mayo Hot Sauce thing (actually I think that heavy picante note is the buttermilk)...I'm gonna lay it all out there.

So remember, this is a March Madness strike...right? The sauce was part of it...Part A. That would make the fact that this is going to be an aromatic blends bombing Part B. I understand financial circumstances could disallow that for some. But generally I'd like the ordinance, where it's tobacco, to be aros.

So, March Madness for sure...Hot Sauce and Aromatic Blends.

It's one of those classic opportunities that might come along once in one's lifetime. I can see it now. You'll be sitting in your chair by a nice Winter fire someday with your grandkids (Vera, Chuck and Dave) sprawled about on the hooked rug, frozen stares on their sweet faces as little Vera asks with that note of hope in her voice...'Grampa, can you tell us again about the Hot Sauce and Aromatic bombing you did?' (she's just so cute)

Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ is coming compliments of Kaiser.

Yeah...I thought we'd all have a tin or so, moldering out on the back porch. Just sumpthin one collects here and there without thinking about it too much. Like a by product of just having been a pipe guy for for a while. Like, just the detritus of life. Like a rusty old swing set out in the yard where the kids used to play. Like that beast of a desktop computer down in the basement next to washer and dryer...the big box of rocks out in the garage Uncle Howard collected down at the shore that one Summer...the scrapbooks of the kids old school projects...the stuff that went with the film cameras still taking up two full drawers in the guest room dresser. Stuff.

It's madness I tell ya. It's March Madness!

OK. I got mine. Took my daughter over to Uwajamia's (huge destination type Asian grocery & deli) and they had about 600 Asian hot sauces from which to pick. I went with the one that's on the table of nearly every Vietnamese and Thai restaurant I've ever been in.
