I think this is the last specialist I'm going to see. I'm going to tell my regular doctor, "No more!" Bless his heart, he keeps trying but one of the specialists said it's genetic and it's progressive so that's the way it is.

Life goes on. Learn to deal with it. :D

Thanks Blackhorse!

Well, this specialist put me back to square one. He suspects the same thing another specialist suspected 8 years ago but the neurosurgeon said she was wrong. What yesterday's specialist says goes along with what I've been suspecting for several years.

Plan: x-rays, MRI, and physical therapy to get some relief ... again and maybe surgery after the diagnostics show something. I'll take it.

Fortunately what I have is a major inconvenience and barely painful on occasion. I think this guy is on the right track. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Update: Got the x-ray results back today. Same verbal report as 8 years ago but I'm sure the arthritis in my neck and lower back have progressed.

If you are thinking of getting a spinal fusion with metal, think long and hard. My third back surgery was one and it wrecked me. No more tennis or golf. I have to use a wheel chair, a walker, it also gave me a bad case of Neuropathy which is nerve damage all over my feet and legs. I have other issues but that is enough for now.

Got checked for an ankle brace today so I don't keep tripping from foot drop. Those suckers are $$$. (Fourteen falls so far this year. This doctor said that's a LOT of falls.)

MRI should be scheduled soon.

Wanting to avoid back surgery. Eight years ago they talked about taking out 2 vertebrae and putting in a metal cage. According to the Neurologist I'm destined for a wheel chair anyway. I'd rather skip the back surgery.

Physical therapy starts just after the beginning of the month.

Here we go again!!!
