My Chromebook Bonehead Move

My most frequently used computer is a Lenovo i3 Chromebook.I bought it in 2016, but it gets OS renewals until June, 2023. It has a 12.6" screen. I wanted something larger for movie and TV watching, so I bought an Acer Chromebook 15, with about a 15" inch screen on Cyber Monday, 2020. Today, I looked at its EOL date and couldn't believe what I saw, EOL is next June. Before I bought the Acer, I should have checked the EOL date. I should have figured that Amazon's Woot was clearing older machines. Me=bonehead!

I looked at an Acer when I got my last laptop. Then asked our IT guy at work about them. He basically told me they were throw away computers. No one wanted to work on them and parts practically non available. Went with the Fujitsu. That was 2012. Still running strong.
