Well, it's the end of an era folks! Mike Glukler sold off his few remaining consigned pipes on e-bay tonight. I will miss briar blues in a big way. Mike is one of the finest gents you'll ever meet and ran one of the finest pipe shops on the net. It's a real shame to see it go.... Of the remaining pieces I was particularly impressed with a Peter Klein sqaut blasted bulldog that had come from "the dark lord's" (GLP's) herd. The bidding was really low so I grabbed it up of course. The shape is actually loosely based on a Poul Ilsted design.

Mike was (is) first class all the way, he will be missed. I was fortunate to purchase 2 fine
Castellos' from Mike. I wish him well..
