New to this forum. Im from Michigan, been smoking a pipe for about 6 months now and thoroughly enjoy it. I enjoy aros, vapers, virginias and english blends. Aros im kinda picky with LL 1Q is my favorite but Sutliff 1M is right up there as well. Orlik Golden Sliced and McConnell Red Virginia are my favorite tobaccos to smoke overall.

I work in aviation, started as a avionics tech years ago and am currently a maintenance inspector. My free time i enjoy hiking, fishing or puttzing around in my garage tinkering with stuff.

Welcome to our little enclave from northern AZ high country. Hope you enjoy the forum and the good folks on here. We have at least 2 things in common, pipes and aviation. I started with the pipe roughly 600 months ago, lol, and started in aviation almost 50 years ago. Yeah, I'm an old fart, lol. PS, if you're an aro guy, check out Country Squire. Some of the best around. Rivendell is top notch.

Glad you became a member! Show some of your fishing photos or others.
Heres some aviation photos and like 1 fishing photo i could find. Sadly i dont get out as much as i would like these days. Fly fishing is my favorite type of fishing at that.

My list is much shorter than yours lol. A&P I work for Kalitta Air in Norther Michigan, 747-400, 767 and 777 airframes mostly but we have 727 and 737 that the sister company brings in for maintenance. I have worked some cool projects such as converting 2 DC10's into fire fighting tankers and when Whuhan was evacuated my company stepped up and we converted our 747 freighters into a passenger configuration to bring Americans back home. I was really proud to be a part of that.

I fixed one of Kalittas 747s when I was in Saudi in 91 for Desert Storm. Nose gear problem. They were taking GIs back home. We happened to have the parts needed in our stock. Glad I was able to help get the guys back home.
