New to the Brotherhood

Hello all from the Philippines, I am here on temporary duty with the Air Force from Hawaii.  Since I don't have access to scotch or beer brewing facilities I decided I needed a vice of some sort. A few of the other guys deployed here are pipe smokers so I decided I would give it a shot.  While researching pipes and tobaccos I am amazed at the  beauty of the various pipes out there in the world.  I also am very attracted to the potential "heirloom" quality that pipes contain.

I look forward to hearing from folks on here as I venture into this new hobby.
