No I didn't light myself alight this time
This is one of my favorite lighters and about a month ago it went to what I would call free spool mode. When I rolled the thumb over it to light nothing. I thought mmm flint, I unscrewed the flint screw and it had like 3 in it mmm weird it must be cactus.
I looked at it again yesterday and thought maybe it had a spring in it I lost. I put another 2 flints in it and worked like a charm.
When it clapped out I was upset and know Zippo has one and was going to message him for advice but all is good now.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and also am I missing a spring on this lighter?
You can tell I live on the coast with the corrosion on it like everything else metal around here.

I checked no spring on the tension screw I reckon I may have lost the spring in one of my playstation, pipe smoking benders :ROFLMAO:
If anyone has one does it have a spring?
It is fixed now just have to keep the flint tube chockers (y)
