Here in lovely East Tennessee it is a beautiful fall day. The sky is robin's egg blue accented here and there by billowing cloud banks. It's a comfortable 58 degrees and the air has that fresh clean quality that makes you think you can see to the ends of the earth.
It was on days like this that a much younger me used to love to go to the woods. I'd find my way to a secluded spot and sit with my back against the trunk of a black oak. There I'd light my pipe and sit, quietly sending smoke signals to the squirrels above my head.
:idea: Think I'll pack my pipe and wander down from the office to the park and sit among the trees for a while.
 
Just got in from doing something very similar here in NE Ohio...granted, I did so under a grey, cloudy autumn sky, but what can you do?
