See now...while it's a whole 'nother universe from Tommy & Jerry, the combination of Chet, Earl & George is one o' those dream combos that transcends any of the juvenile (
or maybe infantile?) kinds of "better than" comparisons that humanoids of tragically deficient intellect and aesthetic capacity are so fond in blathering about in an interminable infestation of "Top Ten __
(fill in prejudice category)__" or "The Absolute Best __
(whatever)__ Of All Time" that make YouTube a True Democracy<img class="emojione" alt="
" title=":tm:" title=":tm:" src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/emojione/assets/png/2122.png?v=2.2.7"/>...by which I mean it includes the sewage along with the sublime.
Anyhow, the Chet, Earl & George video is clearly on the sublime end of the spectrum. I can't watch it while I'm sitting here because I can't sit here for that long right now, but I've watched enough of it to know that
now I hafta watch the whole doggone thang, dammit.
And I can't just
watch it...no; that would be too easy. Now I've gotta watch it with guitar in hand, because there's so much to learn from every one of these masters. See what you've done? ...you evil bastidge, you...
...by which I mean, of course, thanks a bazillion for posting it, amigo.

p.s. I've never worked with Chet or Earl (as far as I can recall), but I had the honor of mixing stage monitors for
George Benson at Carnegie Hall, back in 1975...an incredible show!
