Hello BoB,
I have some open Tins from the 60s I have been rehydrating and the tobacco is in great condition. I have had a bowl out of each and they taste amazing.
The tobacco is the perfect dryness (for me) for smoking, see pictures to get an idea of volume.
I will have more vintage tins up later this week.

Balkan Sobranie 759 is $90 and is 22 grams. SOLD
Mac Baren Dark Twist is $45 and is 27 grams. A bit sharp (Mac Baren bite sharp) until 1/4 of the way down, then very rich, flavorful, and satisfying.
Cholmondley is $75 and 2.2 oz. This tobacco is naturally very sweet.
Escudo is $65 and is 21 grams. Extremely smooth and what you would expect from a vintage tin of Escudo.
3 Noggins is $75 and is 2.3 oz. Well rounded very tasty blend, smooth all the way around.
Available and not pictured: 4.5 oz Stonehaven 4/18 $30 great tobacco, on the dry side.
1.5 oz tin (marked, not actual weight) Gallaher's Condor Long Cut rehydrated, 2 flakes gone from an unsealed but full tin (for quality assurance), still in foil wrapper $50
1960s Black Mallory, unopened cutter tin, Steve Fallon says he thinks it lost it's seal. 4 oz tin, 7 oz gross weight. Want to offer it here before I decide to indulge. $75. Based on the Accountant's tin, chances are good it is still moist.
1960s Accountant's Mixture. Same description as above, $75. Good news, I opened this and it was still moist, fresh as the day it was packed. Probably the best full English I have ever tasted. There is plenty of "N" and the Latakia is robust and very floral. First half of the bowl was baked brownies and the second half was spice and floral.
I would like these to go to BoB, to someone that remembers these blends or would like a peek into the past.
