It seems as if the recession is affecting everything except pipes. (?)

They cut out my overtime so PAD for me will have to stop.Too soon for me to notice
on the net yet.I have some down time at work almost everyday and I scour e-bay
and the different web retailers just looking :drool:
The dollar is getting stronger against the Euro,logic tells me we will see more sales and discounts soon.

Wait until I tell you the story about the pipe I'll be sending LL to refurbish. It will be a couple weeks in the works (crossing the border and all). Hopefully there will be before and after pics...

I'm excited.

No I was thinking of Yak's title "recession-proof" :D . I call it my $5 pipe. It might be that cork and twig pipe but I won't know if its salvage-able until LL gives it a whirl. :lol:
 
Recession-proof : Lookit eBay, ferpetesake.

No matter how grim the economy gets, nothing (IMHO) worthwhile ever gets any cheaper there. (Pipes).

I can remember when there were bargains . . .

I expect people to unload a lot of nice pipes in the near future.When your job is
gone or your investments sour, hobbies get dropped like a spent rubber.I am following
it like a vulture hoping for a DEAL!.
