And my payload is airborne! The Krampus I handed the package over to looked a mite different from Harry's, though:

Received a priority mail package today. I think I hurt myself carrying it into the house. Didn't get to open it cause I was busy cooking for a party at my brother's house tomorrow. Looks like it will be Monday before I get to see what's in there. I love anticipation.

I shipped my package out today! Yup, I'm doin' a little "just sent my package" happy dance.

My package is on the way. Santa swung by at mid-morning. A more detailed report to follow. I was standing there looking like a deer in headlights, awed at the mountain of black boxes that were awaiting me at the PO this morning. :santa:

Again, I am humbled.  Thanks guys.

Several things I do not know.  If this was the December bombing mission, or if this was a rare bombing outside normal channels.  Certainly points to a "Black Op". :suspect:   So I will post about it here in the Secret Santa thread.  Everything has arrived with a card thanking my for my service here, trying to keep the Knox traditions alive.  And also for my retirement.  I will post pics here in this thread.  The Postal Lady was so pleased I showed up as she simply was worried sick that we would not be able to quickly pick all these packages up.  She does not have but a couple small lockers for packages.  (We were reduced to a part time Post Office.)  Good thing I brought the truck.

And what is that decorative club actually called?  It's not a shillelagh, or a Wouff Hong.  It has a screw eye on the bottom, but I cannot imagine hanging it upside down.  Written on the spiral is "They say that after he retired he acted like he had rocks in his head! Weird, huh?"  There are several rocks on his head.  (I will have to reglue one of them.  The cold probably popped it loose.) Is that a tamper, or a magnet on a bamboo stick for checking rocks to see if they are magnetic? Sorry for the poor pics.

well I was going to mail today but I went to our towns little parade and they were having a Christmas open house and were looking for local Artisans to set up in the small businesses along the parade route, so my wife talked me into going and setting up a table, and much to my surprise I sold two pipes, so by the time the open house was over it was too late to mail, BUT due to extra cash and extra time, this means I get to go find something else to throw in that box before I mail.... :santa:

Good deal! We still have a few days yet. The 7th was just a good target date. :santa:

Good On you Carlos! and Congrats on your retirement! those hand carved zombie whackers are awesome (at least I think thats what they are)

Carlos:

"T"

PS -- I guess Santa (or someone) thought you were extra good this year :santa:

I have an update from Santa's headquarters.  Looks like 16 packages shipped, possibly 2 received.  Could be a few more floating around.  Not quite half on the way.  Some of you guys can pretty anonymous.  My Postal Ladies won't have none of that here.  My days of being undetected are done.  We still have time, but if anyone gets in a bind, let me know ASAP!  :santa:

Be sure to let me know when you have shipped, or in this thread.  Post pics of received stuff for everyone to check out.  Pics started on page 12 of this thread, I think.

Ho Ho Ho!  :santa:

Santa picked up my package and its on the way! I'll PM the tracking # to you later Carlos.

Will be shipping out on Monday. After 41 1/2 weeks, we welcomed our new son. 8lbs. 10 oz. and loved more than words can say. Nonetheless, I am back to work on Monday and only blocks from the post office. A little late, but Santa is on the case. Can't wait to see some pics from everyone!
