I'm not familiar with this pipe. Is this one of his lower priced pipes? There's a rather nice one on Ebay but it's obviously not been cut properly around the bowl. It's still a lovely pipe but it's rather an obvious defect. Anyone have more info on the Geppetto pipes?

Yes a decent enough looking pipe but, the faded line around the bowl was probably done from over sanding or shaping the bevel on the bowl and that's why it's a Gepetto. I have two Gepetto's and both have small flaws. Damn good smokers just the same though. ;)

Thanks Ron, I suspected it was something like that.
 
IIRC, the Geppetto line are "fraised" pipes (machine-copied). Darn good pipes at a lower price point. :cheers: FTRPLT

This is what I've heard. I had one once with an exceptionally large chamber. A real Italian proportioned bent egg. Sadly I had that before I was ready for it. Let it go to a new good home. I was generally pleased with the pipe as I remember.
