So what is it about snuff?

I've never smoked cigarettes.
I've enjoyed cigars and pipes for 15+ years, but not more than one a day (and usually less often).
My tolerance for nicotine is somewhat low.

However, since trying snuff a couple months ago, I'm now enjoying this 3-4 times per day.   My smoking frequency has declined even further ... and my wish list on Mr. Snuff and Old Mill keeps growing.   Perhaps this is just the effect of a new, very enjoyable and even less expensive "hobby", and the novelty will slow down after awhile.

I've been frantically collecting sealed containers to put my 16 tins of snuff into so they don't go stale.

I have skipped pipe days, but always have at least one tin of old mill on me.

Quick, easy, pleasant feeling nicotine buzz + lovely olfactory sensation. What's not to enjoy? It's everything I enjoy about pipe smoking condensed into a way smaller moment. Win, win.

Has it replaced pipe smoking for me? No. But I do smoke less frequently as a byproduct of snuff. Perhaps that's a good thing both for my health and pocket book.
