At that price he'll have it long enough to turn into a diamond........THEN maybe I'd think about it. :p
 
In fine condition, a DRH is rare enough that serious collectors would pay considerably more than $2500 for it, actually.

As shown, especially given the horrible photos, I doubt anyone at all will go for it. The rounded/radiused rim edge is usually a sign of a careless owner, and telegraphs other problems.

Whoever is trying to sell it would have been much better off getting the pipe cleaned up and placing it with a reputable broker.
 
It does look to have some really nice straight grain. I love the rings in the wood and wonder just what a superb blast it might have made.
