And here I thought I was a TV si-fi nerd. You guys outclass me from the word go. Dunno half of what you're on about.

Growing up in the 50's/60's we had-

Twilight Zone (prolly when I was first aware of the genre)

My Favorite Martian (si-fi sitcom)

My Living Doll (not sure if this classifies)

Then it got interesting-

Outer Limits (really grabbed my attention).

Kraft Suspense Theater (little known series, but I remember a few of them like it was yesterday - some pretty scary - at least to a little kid).

And of course in the later 60's here we go with Star Trek and all the rest. So ya, big fan from way back when.

These days, meh. Too much emphasis on special effects. Prefer it to be back when tension and drama would create the intended outcome. Hitchcock was a master at this.

Nobody does this anymore. It's all about the action and violence.

No Cheers?

Ah, yes, Ark 2....

Great cornmeal there. Don't forget

Batman
Dr. Who

And Lexx. Now THERE was a weird scifi series....... Back when I was smoking rope that was good to gel to with a beverage of choice..........
