Spent 8 months in the Arabian Sea where we were served 3.2% beer. Surrounded by sand, heat and burkas. They would pull a barge next to our ship and we would grill burgers and get 2 beers each (every 3 months). On the transit back to Charleston SC, we made a port call at Barcelona Spain. They served 8% beer. Don't remember the brand but it was heavenly! Definitely in my top 5...

My wife and I often tour Montreal now and again. I remember slipping into a micro-brew pub called Dieu Du Ciel (Oh my God in french). I drank 5 glasses of Ste-Flanelle(8% ABV). The rest of the day we walked around Montreal in a nice-dizzy state of mind. I pretty much love everything they make - definitely the best brewers in Canada right now.
