I was looking for a way to cellar some of my favorite blends. I wanted to be able to cellar most of a tin in a mason jar but be able to put a smaller amount in something more portable so that when I travel I could have a variety of blends with me. I found these unblown soda pop bottles on this website: http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/product/1389 I have been using them all summer and they seem to work well. Tobacco stays fresh and they fit the bill of being portable. What do you guys think? Has anybody else tried this?

I checked the link and it works. Don't accidently highlight the period at the end of the sentence when you cut and paste. I think it works pretty well for me since I do alot of camping and I like to have a few choices with me. I don't have to worry about using a plastic bag or breaking a mason jar. I just thought it was kind of interesting. Sorry for the double post... I accidently hit the back button.

Ingenious idea Falcon! These could be handy for all sorts of things!

Like I said, They have kept my baccy fresh on camping trips. I will still cellar all my baccy in jars but now I have a way to have some on the go too. Btw Dutch, I think your picture of the old timer might be one of my kinfolk. ;)
