It blows my mind how much people spend on water bottles. And that they go through trends, so it has become "a thing" to keep up with the trends. Or having one for each season? It's one thing to spend $30 on a water bottle once, but then for it to become a habit? Or maybe it is a hobby? And NONE of them seem to be dishwasher safe.

Makes me want to dig out my old Boy Scout canteen or the bota bag someone gave me as a child that I carried everywhere.

I've gone through maybe two in the last 4ish years. I use the steel ones. Not being dishwasher safe doesn't bother me since water is the only thing that goes in them, there is really no reason to need a dishwasher for it. Whenever I do need a new one it seems like 20-30 dollars is a lot lol. I usually get my money's worth of of them though.
