Note though that if Russ Ouellette's other stuff is anywhere near as good as Virginia Memories #10 is, there's a third player in the game along with GLP & the Gawiths. (The Canadian & Surch stuff might be 4 & 5).

Snobs.8)

Anyway,
Not that it matters, but my list would include:

I love threads like this as they allow me to identify Brothers with similar taste and gives me (too many) ideas on new blends to try. I've only been at this a cup,e years now, but here's a short list:

1) Dunhill MM 965
2) Haddo's Delight
3) H&H Black House
4) Maltese Falcon
5) Frog Morton Across the Pond
6) C&D Exhausted Rooster

There's quite a few sure fire favorites in the cellar(Many of which have already been listed here), but I've yet to get into most as yet.

Ten. I like that. So much easier than five.

In no particular order:

Fillmore
Haddo's Delight
Chelsea Morning (I like VaPers the best, but this is the most layered and complex tobacco ever. I'm in awe every time I smoke it and am always shocked it isn't on more "favorites" lists).
Sextant
Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake
Scottish Flake
Astleys No. 44
Escudo
Nightcap
Solani Aged Burley Flake

The first ten that come to mind:

Haddo's Delight
Full Virginia Flake
Samarra
Escudo
Blackpoint
Christmas Cheer
Irishman's Five O'Clock (Steven Books)
St. James Flake
Sword of Avalon (Steven Books)
Storm Front

Yep, that'd do it.

Life would lose its luster if I couldn't have these.

In order of preference:

My Own Mixture
McClelland Tudor Castle (Reserved for celebrations)
Orlick Golden Sliced
Erinmore Flake
GH Bosun Cut Plug
GH Grasmere
GH Errindale
McClelland # 25 Virginia
Dunhill Flake
GH Glengarry

Hmmmm...guess this is my list. Unfortunately there so many to try. So I reserve the right to change this at a moments notice......

1. Black Stoker
2. Frog Morton
3. Golden Shag
4. Old Dark Fired
5. Da Vinci
6. Tilbury
7. Honey and Chocolate
8. Big Dipper
9. Squadron Leader
10. Blackpool

I would have to agree with Aj...his special blend is the best I have ever tasted..bar none.

Gonna post my reply before I read too far in and get influenced too much. Lots of great tobaccos in the posts I've read so far!

In no particular order, here are my 10...er 7:

Blackwoods Flake
C&D Opening Night
McClelland's Bombay Extra
GLP Lagonda
OGS
2015
Stonehaven

Even though I say "in no particular order," Blackwoods Flake is the only one I would be most saddened to lose.

I have had some recent breakthroughs with Blackwoods Flake that have been so profound that I am inclined to agree. For me to enjoy it, it needs to be prepared well ahead of time that's for sure.

I have started breaking it apart, thoroughly rubbing it into ribbons and letting it dry to John Patton standards, (at least 2-3 hours dry time) as the broken flakes are ridiculously moist out of the tin, although not as moist as say Dark Star or FVF. Superb VA smoke with wonderful warm toasty flavors.

Just in the last week I have finally begun to see the light with this blend.
