A third of a bowl left of year 2012 Anniversary Kake in a smooth burgundy medium bend 1979 Chippendale (Charatan second) Rhodesian 49 with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Smokes as well as a first and worth the $19.95 I paid for it all those years ago. Ice water and bergs is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.

The lady who adopted Ringo sent me several new pics. Here's one of them.

Now smoking Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a straight smooth brown undated Gesandt Canadian Made in England with a tapered black vulcanite stem. This pipe was originally owned by Poul Schluter, who was the Prime Minister of Denmark from 1982-1993. Tomato the Brave wanted to go outside, and Sleepy Suzy is by my side now.

Last smoke of the day is year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Daisy the Feral Princess and Tomato the Brave wanted back in to eat, and to get out of the rain, which has lasted for hours now. Daisy was smart enough to stay where it was dry, but Tomato didn't. I dried him off before I fed him. Harry the Hairy was hungry, and like Daisy, stayed where it was dry. Everybody's eaten now. I saw the motion light on the side of the house was on, and hoped that it was Abner the Eager, but I didn't see anything moving.

A third of the way through this bowl of pre-2014 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed my cats, and three ferals. Haven't checked to see if Abner the Eager is here yet, but I will after I post this. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

I don't want to jinx it, but the last few pipes I've had have been 'not horrible.' That includes this one I am smoking right now while I hit the keys, Autumn Evening in MM Elf Cobbit.
I have looked at that pipe many times. Can't seem to pull the trigger. Does 'not horrible' mean you'd buy it again if you broke it?

Not exactly a "right now" posting! Have family visiting; thus little "confuser" time!! Been running thru my stash of 2008 Balkan Sobranie O.S.M. last evening and this morning! Filled a small (DH 1) 1922 DH 7 DR bulldog, an old three-part "C" Comoy rusticated pot, another DH ODA 836 Tanshell plus a huge Charatan Selected SG flared-bowl Dublin with the magic weed!! Just kept rotating them with the BSOSM!! Various adult beverages in the evening; Hawai'ian Lion Coffee Kona this morning and early afternoon! Tough way to live!!! FTRPLT

About a quarter of a bowl left of year 2020 Watch City Rouxgaroux in a smooth medium bend 2021 Peterson POTY Natural 4AB No. 6/500 military mount with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. Cleaned a few pipes, and searched for Abner the Eager with no luck. Even though the rain stopped, it's dark and cloudy outside, so I didn't really expect to see him, but it was worth a shot. Maybe when the weather and his paw get better, he'll show up.

Enjoyed a tall stack of cinnamon raisin French toast with unsalted peanuts and a golden delicious apple on the side. I'm half way through this bowl of C&D Fireside Fable (Winter Reserve 2024) in a 2003 URAL full bend big bowl egg shaped Lattice meer with a black acrylic saddle stem. Working on a review of this Turkish Latakia dominant Christmas blend. Gold Star Papua New Guinea, neat, is my drink.
