Ok, I had to do something fun and indulgent (if not quite 102 degrees crazy!): I have four pipes lined up on the deck with a side of honey bourbon. I'm continuing my explorations of Voodoo Queen tweaks because the retrohale of the stock version really does a number on my sinuses. Best tweak and damn delicious is 6/8 Voodoo, 1/8 Sutliff TS-3 and 1/8 Boswell Premium Burley. At this point it's really more than a tweak - it has transformed into its own blend. I may just stop while I'm ahead - and enjoy!!

Cool and rainy here this morning! CH and Golden Extra in a MM Rob Roy & Charles Towne Cobbler!! That and uber rich/dark coffee made for a fine morning!! FTRPLT

Smoking my own tweaked version of VQ. Not as exotic as Brunellos but working for me. 50% VQ, 25% CH, and 25% black cav. Toned it down, added a little sweetness. Downside is it has muted the Lat flavor. May try adding in some blending latakia. Port wine on the side.

My altered version of Voodoo Queen in a Molina bent rhodesian. English tea on the side. Think I will call it Witchy Woman. Not bad as is but may tweak just a tad more. Maybe a touch more CH and add some Latakia

Started the day with CH in a MM cob and morning coffee channeling my inner Zeb McCahan, lol. On to Urban Cowboy in a giant Don Carlos 2 note. Overcast and much cooler this am. Just me and the birdies enjoying the peace and quiet.

Okay, is my phone screwed up or what? It says no posts on here since yesterday?? What gives?? Anyway Rattrays Red Rap in a Randy Wiley grade 99 handmade with port wine on the side. Calm, peaceful, and finally cool evening on the veranda.

Enjoying Gawith Hoggarth Dark Plug in a cob out on the deck with a cup of joe. Heading out in a few hours to spend the weekend at a friend’s cabin for wife’s birthday. It’s going to be a good weekend!

Wilke 400 in a Randy Wiley freehand with Crown Royal. Toss up between this and Crystal Palace. Both good but the 400 seems to be more persnickety about which pipe it likes.
