Used to be. Still a beautiful area and nice town but growing like crazy with all the CA fruits and nuts coming in. Housing prices going sky high. Traffic becoming a problem. And all the libs moving into PHX trying to turn AZ into CA. But still a better place to live than most.
Tell them to go to Sedona, they would fit in better over there.

Relaxing after a wonderful salad, big porterhouse steak with mac&cheese on the side for dinner. Since the last Boston cream pie m'lady made was so good, she made another tonight, and I ate a quarter of the pie, plus a smaller slice. Had to make sure it wasn't poisoned!! :) Guess it'll be a while before I do another off-diet day, but it's been worth it, folks! I'm half way through this bowl of year 2018 Esoterica Dunbar in a smooth straight, dark brown early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Good morning,
Terrible night at work, Smoking a Bari Wiking freehand with Lane LL-7, Mug of Colombian peaks coffee to wake me up! Trying to be at work by 10 am. The catering business sucks!
My wife somehow slipped and fell at work yesterday afternoon, was sent to the ER, She did some damage to her right hand and will have to see a hand specialist. The MRI, they said was not good news.

Zip, Brother you can come up with some pipes! When you are through smoking that piece you can get a job on that Ricola Cough Drop commercial. The one where the guy is blowing his horn across the Alps. Ri...col...aaa... Hahaha 🤣
You got me on a quest to find the most weirdest pipe in my collection now Sturdy buddy. 🤣

Got up at 5 am to see the Perseid meteors-not a one but much moonlight. Saw the sunrise, took a bike ride, and now enjoying a bowl of SG St. James Flake in the Savinelli 320 EX. A little concerned about smoking a flake so early in this pipe's unbroken in state. I figure the thick walls and round shape can take it. Swede
We spiked getting up in ky due to clouds and rain

Good Afternoon my friends.
Another scorcher in blighty, and far to hot to have a traditional English roast dinner. So we just enjoyed a cold chicken salad, and very nice it was too.
Now im going to plug my English lion carved Dr. Watson. ( I know but the wife bought it as a prezzie ), with some Petersons Sunset Breeze, sit in the garden, and dream of being at the beach during a thunderstorm
Have a great day everybody.

Ranger, Ain’t nothing better than riding in the rain. You get to clean out all four frogs, squeegee the horse, and oil soap the leather gear! Lol. Been there and done that.
Been there done that too. But at my age, way too much work, lol. Plus when it rains here, it really rains. We can get 2 to 3 inches of rain in under an hour.

Zip, I don’t know who would approve of that pipe more, Ernest Hemingway or C.S. Lewis? 😀

Dr Watson wouldn't be a choice I'd make Sturdy mate, like I said it was a prezzie from the wife, and I have to smoke it occasionally. Or I get that look, which all men dread, followed by "you never smoke that pipe I got you". And you have to think fast for a lie, something like, ohhhh that one deserves my favourite tobacco sweetheart, and i ran out.I'm sure we've all been there lol. 🤣🤣🤣

Zip, if you like thunderstorms you should have been here last. I volunteered to do security at our annual Mile High Brewfest in downtown Prescott. Fine for the first 2 hours, then around 7, started to rain and within 20 minutes pouring down hard. Thunder, lightning, hail. I'm plodding through 4" of water and getting soaked to the skin. Yep, nothing like monsoons in AZ, lol.

I'm really surprised by that buddy, I've always thought of Arizonia as a dry arid place. I had no idea you got so much rain.
