C&D Stratfordshire in English Ben Wade. With all the sales this month on C&D, Sutliff, and Wilke, I've got 29 new tobaccos to try, not even counting the BoB trades! After a cursory bowl of each, like Paul_of_Burley said, I look forward to settling in with a few of the most promising blends, to really get to know them. Like a game of chess (even with the 50-move rule) there are so many permutations of English/Balkan blends possible that it would take a dozen bowls a day for a lifetime to explore them all. All I can say is that this one ticks all the boxes for me: full texture, pleasing aroma and aftertaste, delicious retrohale. I'll be posting a 4 star review on this one! :)
