I just finished sanitizing/cleaning my E-bay Peterson Kilarney 80S pipe,This one was a real challenge,The bowl itself took a lot of reaming, the amount of cake in there was insane and smelled pretty bad.God knows what this guy smoked. Luckily the salt treatment worked great. The mouthpiece was totally clogged, even after a day in the oxyclean,I could barely get a bristled pipe cleaner in it ! I finally gave in and soaked it in alcohol for three hours and finally got it cleared and clean. I lost the coloring on the Peterson logo in the alcohol process, but now it`s a smokable pipe. I don`t understand why a person would buy a pretty nice pipe and let it get in this condition? Luckily I paid damn near nothing for it,so I am not complaining. Now enjoying this Pete with some Creme Brulee!
