Tried a new one - McClellends 2000 FMC.

It's sweetish, mellow, and has a vanilla pouch aroma that doesn't seem to carry over into the taste very much. Very soft, no bite at all, and comes at just the right moisture level. Just rub out a little, stuff, and light.

Just right for a morning bowl, but would not be my choice for after a heavy meal.

I smoked this in a resurrected a pipe I hadn't smoked for a long time - a Savinelli 1/2 bent (Linea PIU 5) rusticated apple that used to be one of my favorites years ago. It's a fairly large pipe and the walls are very thick. Just needed a good reaming and the draft hole opened up a little.

All in all very enjoyable.
