Like the title says, What do you drive?

I drive a '99 Saturn wagon that is cranky until it hits 70 mph. The gas mileage is still great and nobody wants to steal it--not much else I need.

Occasionally I borrow my lady's Tacoma PreRunner, also a '99.

How 'bout you?

(If you also "drive" boats, aircraft, offroad vehicles, let us know!)

95 Corolla. Paid for, but is starting to have some heavier costs of maintenance.

Oh well, if less than a grand a year, it is cheaper than a new one.

2000 Chevy shortbed 4x4 with a 5.3 liter v8. Chipped and Flowmastered.

2005 Chevy Impala with the 3.4 liter v6. Just cheap transportation with a lot of room.

2009 Toyota Rav4 with a 279hp v6 and all wheel drive. Run flat tires. Sport package. This was the 1991 Ford 3/4 ton 4x4 I traded in as a Cash for Clunkers deal.

Ten years ago my wife and 2 of our 3 boys were tail-ended by a Camry while in our 1999 Chev Suburban. Camry was doing 55-60 mph (highway construction) while our Suburban was stopped. Drove our truck forward 10 ft into the car ahead of us. Totaled the Camry, people were very lucky not to be killed. Wife and kids got a quick checkup and sent on their way. We drove the Suburban 800 miles home, got the frame straightened, then traded it immediately.

Moral of this story is that since then all we drive is Suburbans. Mine is a 2005, wife's is a 2008. I do get a hankering for a pickup and may trade for one sooner or later, but the '05 is paid for and runs perfect. I don't see us not having at least one Suburban for the wife to drive and for longer road trips, can't beat it when you are doing 800-1000 miles per day.

2000 Honda Prelude SH
It's a fun drive, more than quick enough to get you into trouble, or out of for that matter. After driving a stick almost exclusively I cant fathom owning another auto. Sometimes when I drive my friends car or parents I find myself doing anything but driving, I find it too easy and my mind runs all over the place. Anyone else share the same sentiments?

Drive the company Chevy pickup truck 99% of the time with the supplied gas credit card. But my personal car is a 94 Suburban with 278K on it, that was recently stripped, bead blasted, re-sprayed, and now is getting a new interior in it.

2-door, black, 5-speed, 1998 Nissan SX. It's not much, but it has great gas mileage, gets me from point A to B, and I installed a decent stereo and speakers in it last winter. So I like it!
