BoB,

I am seeking guidance on adding these two books to my collection. I emailed a gent at NASPC to ask about the history of Custombilt book, and there is a gent on Ebay selling copies of Who Made That Pipe for 39.99. I wanted to consult with you all about this matter, as it seems likely that one of the fold could point me in the right direction.

Yours In Smoke,
Matt

Herb Wilczak & Tom Colwell published "Who Made That Pipe?" c.1997. They list late 19th & early and mid-20 century markings and the country & company associated with them. The book is self-published; has a plastic loops binding. Very useful to look up obscure eBay listings, etc.

The Custom-Bilt Pipe Story, "As Individual as a Thumbprint," was written written and published by the late Bill Unger, the definitive authority on Custom-Bilts.
