I just loaded a bowl of Captain Black White that I keep in a humidor for the occasional smoke, and it's dried out! Not that it's a bad thing. To the contrary, it smokes great. But that stuff is known to have the shelf life of a Twinkie with all of the humectant that it contains. This is quite an anomaly.

I'm going to savor the contents of this jar.

Here's a link to the ingredients of German Captain Black so you can savor much more fully. I'm assuming the ingredients are not much different than what's available in the USA.
