I was playing for a while. Kept getting blown to pieces by other players before I could get decent upgrades to be competitive. I gave up after my laptop died. Pretty fun though. I think the best strategy is to just hide the best you can and let the bigger tanks take out the majority.

Depends on your class.

Light tank, go scout.
Medium tank, be versatile
Heavy tank, go slug it out.
Tank destroyer, hide and snipe.
Artillery, shoot twice a game while eating tater chips and watching Netflix or perhaps reading a good book.

I found a version for Android last night and installed it. It's harder to move around.

I'm fine once I get the lay of an area, if not I am at the mercy of the other tanks I'm in the battle with always seem 2-3 are in it as a group so covering my back is not why they play.
