Early Christmas from BriarPipeNYC.
Along with a generous portion of his "Pleasant Moments" blend came an unexpected gift of a small mini pipe. My only previous experience with a mini pipe was a cheap cob that had a chamber bore so small I couldn't even get my pinkie in when loading the pipe. This one has a more generous chamber and when compared against a Savinelli and Pete using the same tobacco, it held its own. I quite like it for a quick 15 minute session. Since there was no nomenclature on the pipe I asked him where it came from. Evidently a no-name pipe with a vulcanite stem and boring dull finish that he Dremel rusticated and finished himself. I'm impressed by both the crafting skill and generosity of spirit. A good Brother to have on the forum!
