Having watched a number of his videos, I can't help but think if he tamped a bit more often, he would need as many relights

Thanks DrT999, I just subscribed to this fellow. I enjoyed this while smoking my Savinelli. I don't yet have a Peterson. I did just get just get MM General and a Forever stem for those long smokes in the yard working.

I think you will like the General. I have 2 and they are great with burleys.

I've watched a couple of his videos now too. It's quite relaxing and interesting to listen to him. I think that is a great intersection for pipe smoking. Often things that interest me get me excited and it is not relaxing.

I like especially the line "the pipe had not commanded me to relax". That sums it up nicely for when I get in the "zone".
