I realized after I ordered that the Siberia was snus. I'm not sure how interested I am in trying it out really. If it's nothing like chewing tobacco it may stand a chance.

My wife, while sorting through old boxes in the basement whipped out a 10g tin of Sam Gawith Apricot snuff she bought in Germany 12-13 years ago. I tried it despite it's age (I age my pipe tobacco why not?) and it was a damn fine experience. Nice little jolt and great flavor.

Penzance is a good example of knowing a flavor is there but not being able to put my finger on it. Antiseptic would be the word, there is a distinct band-aid-ish aroma in there. I wouldn't have singled it out had another BOTL mentioned it.
I have seen salty used as a descriptor of flavor in several blends. I'm not sure I understand this and was hoping for some suggestions to blends with a prominent salt taste so I can look for and understand it.
Often I see it attributed to Latakia blends if that's any help. I'm sure I've tasted...
