    Cool Antique Store Find

I've had St. Bruno Flake. Excellent blend! I hope that it rehydrates well for you. I just finished a tin of Dunhill's STD. Med. Mixture from the mid 70's and was the finest English blend I have ever smoked. It was very well balanced blend, maybe because of the age. I was given half a tin of...

Thanks for the kind words fellas. For the moment I'm trying to make a handful of pipes for the Richmond show. I'll keep you all updated on my progress. Though they won't be for sale until the show. So I'll just be teasing you guys. I do accept commissions. (Sorry for the sales pitch.) :D Abe

    Blue Grass

I'm a big fan of Old Time music and play the clawhammer banjo, which usually gets confused with bluegrass music, it drives me crazy! I do enjoy bluegrass occasionally. Abe

    Mild/Moderate latakia blends

My favorite blend for the moment that contains lat is McClellands Bombay Court. It's on the lighter lat. side, with the orientals more foward, and the lat. intermingling. This stuff DGT's well. If you like it, I highly recommend aging some. Eight year old Bombay Court is simply divine. Abe

    Thoughts on resting pipe positions?

    Thoughts on resting pipe positions?

I'll be building this with the future in mind. I'm thinking that it will hold no less than 40 pipes. So I hope I don't run out of room anytime soon. I try to limit myself to about two nice pipes a year. I have a small rack without open slots and that is a bugger for bent pipes. I'll be doing...
