Ebay Estate Pipes - Any Experience With Them?

I also have been buying a few pipes off Ebay on a limited budget. Some have been the "basket" variety pipes and a few that are nicer such as a couple by Lorenzo. The "basket" pipes have been hit and miss at best. A couple of them smoke OK and some of them are best used as paper weights. Lately I...

    What are you smoking?

Black Russian in my self made DS Chubby nose warmer. Since this was a first smoke for this pipe, it started out irratic for the first ten minutes. The next 35 minutes were a pleasure. No relights until the end of the bowl.

    A few of my pipes

Thanks All are from scratch. My dad and I bought a bunch of blocks and stems from PIMO in about 1977. I get a block out of the stash once in a while and make a pipe. I did make my first one from a kit, that I gave my dad. It was a sad attempt at best, but he kept it and smoked it a few times.
