    Removing Precarbonization

    So I went ahead and actually used a combination of wiping with Everclear and sanding. The Everclear got most of the Precarbon out. I took care of the stubborn areas with the sandpaper. The whole procedure took 20 minutes. Haven't smoked it yet. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for the...

    Still afraid to try the sanding, I've been doing some more homework. I read somewhere that using Everclear to wipe the inside of the bowl removes most precarbonization. I'll give that a try first. If that doesn't work, I'll give the sanding a go. I'll keep you guys posted on my little project...
